Edison Prep is known for our comprehensive group classes, taught by our two founders and offered for all SAT and ACT test dates, year-round. Our classes are in high demand because they work. They are offered both in-person and virtually. Registration is first-come, first-serve.
Our private tutoring rates are lower than those of big-box agencies, and we have the most experienced test prep tutors in Georgia. Our private tutoring fills up several weeks out, with weekends booked first.
About 40% of our students solely take an SAT or ACT group class; about 50% do a class before the first test, followed by private tutoring to fine-tune their skills before their second exam. About 10% opt for purely private tutoring. We are happy to accommodate whichever plan families desire!
Historically, the average increase for students who do the hybrid approach is the highest. And, completing our group course first is vastly more affordable than opting for purely private tutoring. We are always available to advise on what test prep timeline is best for your student, according to their class year, academic rigor, and test scores thus far.
Our founders are the two most experienced SAT/ACT tutors in Georgia by a wide margin. As a result, our group class is far more effective than private tutoring with an inexperienced, underpaid college student from a big-box agency. We regularly get feedback that just the first Edison Prep class was more rewarding than months of prior preparation somewhere else.
Our instructors aren’t the only ones committed to score increases: we have hard-working students in our classes. We have cultivated a word-of-mouth client base of passionate students who are serious about increasing their scores, which includes doing homework (that second major factor)! This can-do philosophy improves the classroom environment for everyone.

Your first step may be a complimentary mock SAT and ACT. If you’re currently taking Algebra II, we recommend taking mock tests in your second semester. If you’re taking Algebra II as a junior, wait until late fall of your junior year, when you have more Algebra under your belt!
